Are Tahitiparels naturally dark?
Yes. The color comes from the nacre layers of Pinctada margaritifera, deposited by the oyster as the parel grows. There is no dye or treatment involved in our parels. Each piece wordt geleverd met oorsprongscertificaat.
How does AAA grading work for Tahitiparels?
AAA Tahitiparels have surface 95%+ clean, spiegelglans (you can see your reflection), near-round to round shape, and uniforme ondertonen. AA parels have 85%+ schoon oppervlak and high (but not mirror) glans. A grade has zichtbare onvolkomenheden and lower glans.
Zijn parels geboord of ongeboord?
Both beschikbaar. Geboord parels have a 0.8mm hole standard; wij kunnen boren to 1.0mm or 1.2mm voor dikker zijde or beading wire. Ongeboord parels let you (or your jeweler) decide boren placement.
